Hi! My name is Allen and I was born in Santa Teresa, Rio de Janeiro. I have a degree in Tourism and I've been working as a profissional tour guide for over 20 years.

The city and the state of Rio are my office and I have experience most of it including wild beaches, the night life, cultural events, waterfalls, mountains, sports, dance.

I make my life a research of the greatest bliss I could share with my guests.My favorite quote is Bob Marley's "Live the life you love, Love the life you live".

This experience was the best I had doing my time in Rio Allen is such a nice, warm and smiling person, and during the hike he shares his learning About healthy living for your body and mind. It was truly an experience I will never forget. I went on the sunrise hike and it was so Beautiful! With the warm of the sun rising, pphp made us sit and meditate to feel our sorrundings and body . Its Something I have never done, but it felt so good and realaxing. Allen showed us a beautiful waterfall, where we went for a swim, it was so refreshing and at the end we had Acaii- which Where really good ! You diffently dont want to miss Out on this experience! Allen was a great host! He had so much information to share. It was great to hear about Allen's story and why this experience is called The Forever Young project. Any time I travel I do not think my experience is complete until I've connected with the nature of that area and Allen provided that beyond our expectations. It was a great experience for many reasons. One in particular though was that it was outside of the typical touristy things to do in Rio. This experience was truly the highlight of our whole trip! :) We highly recommend others to enjoy this experience with Allen.

I like a lot what we mediated during sunrise and next to the secret waterfall. We swam under the waterfall and enjoy the sun shine. He is always encouraging. Thanks for inviting me to hike with bare feet. My first time to do it and it's such a nice experience. We climbed tree roots and rocks. Have an amazing night view, sunrise, informative drive around the city. The breakfast is also awesome. I like the trip so much. It was such a wonderful memory. You must not miss this (Website hidden by Airbnb) a female solo traveler from Chicago this is the best outdoor experience I had in Rio. We went on a early morning Hike to catch the most beautiful perfect sunrise in Tijuca forest. This is a great meditation hiking and exploration experience for tourist and locals. A must see when in Rio. Allen our host is such a positive, genuine and kind- hearted local. Allen, picked and dropped me at the place where i stayed in Ipanema. Also, Allen brought us to the best Acai and Pao de Queijo in Santa Teresa for breakfast after our hike. You will feel alive and relaxed after this experience. During this hike I learned the meditation breathing technique which i will apply in my everyday life. I will also share this meditation breathing to others. Thank you so much, Allen. I will do this again next time I visit Rio
